irrational fear
I have many fears but few that are irrational and my fear of certain insects is the most notable. I think this fear roots from my old nanny's extreme phobia of cockroaches. I remember being amazed at how afraid she was of them as a child but i suppose as i grew up, it subconsciously affected me and now i get a little jolt up my spine if i see an earwig or silverfish in the room.
